The Leigh Art Trail was founded in 1987 as a
community of artists who share a passion for
their work. Operating as a co-operative, every year they bring the public the opportunity to walk around the delightful fishing town of Leigh On Sea; not only to view their work, but to explore the town, its historic landmarks and its many studios and independent shops.
Shout were commissioned to design the new “Leigh Art Trail” brand and marketing elements for June 2011 trail. For us this was a great, high profile project that needed a great deal of research and preparation, given the wide and eclectic range of participators, coupled with a highly discerning audience. We wanted the brand to appeal to the spirit of the event whilst giving it a much greater visual presence. We have also assisted in bringing new and exciting sponsors to the event which in turn has helped to increase the profile. We look forward to the launch this summer and hope you can perhaps come along and see what Leigh Art Trail’s all about.
